#LibredeHambre: HungerFree goes to G20 in Mexico

posted by June 18th, 2012

As leaders of the twenty largest economies in the world meet on June18 and 19 at the G20 summit, World Vision’s HungerFree campaign (see what we did at the G8 last month)  is calling these leaders to address solutions for the 925 million people around the world who go to bed hungry each night. As part of this global campaign, children, youth and adults in Mexico and over the world are using creative expressions of “art activism” and social media engagement to reach their G20 leaders. (Download the Art & Advocacy book compiling all these creations here.)

The ACT:S community have contributed with artistic expressions that represent the real possibility of a free hunger world. Photos, paintings and other pieces will be displayed as part of an exhibition of five days in Los Cabos, Baja California, Mexico from June 15-19.
